Happy New Year! So many exciting things have happened in 2018 and I am ready to see what 2019 has in store. As a person who is somewhat technologically challenged 😂, I’m pleased at where Dandridge House Dolls has ended the year. At the end of 2017, the idea of DHD was forming and I started my Instagram page January of 2018. I spent the spring brainstorming and began taking dolls with me in my travels, by the end of May the blog was born.
Since the blog launch, DHD has revealed five dollhouse rooms. More were constructed, but they still needed finishing. The dollhouse goal for 2019 is to reveal one room a month. Over Christmas the Hubs was able to knock out a ton of construction and we are on track! I think you guys are going love them. 😉 Here’s a throwback to the finished five of 2018. To see the full posts visit them at Kirsten’s Cabin, Addy in Mrs. Ford’s Dress Shop, Kit’s Kitchen, Addy’s Parlor and Emma’s Bedroom.
I was so happy to be able to do five giveaways in 2018 and am looking forward to doing more in 2019! I’ve already started thinking and planning and have some ideas up my sleeve, including another full-size doll! 😊 Here’s a recap of 2018’s giveaways.
Over the course of 2018, Dandridge House Dolls photos have received 17,531 likes on Instagram. Here is the top nine most popular pics in order from 1st to 9th. Thank you AGIG! ❤️
After reading comments and questions from DHD viewers (by the way, I love you reaching out through the contact page 😉) I have new ideas and categories in store. I’m learning what everyone likes to see and talk about and that’s what we’ll do! I’ve started the category News & Notes for little updates on what’s going on at Dandridge House and what’s new with American Girl. Also, I am starting a YouTube page for dollhouse tours and unboxing videos of new AG products. You can find the link to my videos in the sidebar!
In case you didn’t know, DHD is on Facebook, Instagram and Pinterest! Instagram is where I post pictures almost daily and on my Pinterest page you’ll find my inspiration and ideas. Check them out if you haven’t already! Thanks for coming along on my doll journey and have a great 2019! Happy collecting! ❤️
